"John Biggs, also known as Dugong John, is a U.K.-based illustrator that uses his narrative talents to explore varying cultures and backdrops. His work moves between sci-fi intrigue and mystery and snapshots from the everyday."                                              -Hi Fructose Magazine

John has practiced professionally for three years and in that time has created work for The Brighton Fringe Festival, Red Bull, Nixon Watches, Laine’s Pub Company and Fuller’s Brewery to name but a few. He was King & McGaw’s Artist-in-residence 2016-2017.

John has run workshops at Heal’s department store in London, celebrating Japanese brush and ink work and has worked closely with special educational needs in (his local town) Brighton, running sculpture workshops at St. John’s School and College.

Whether painting large murals in public spaces, developing art direction for business or working on his personal ink drawing & acrylic paintings, Dugong John has remained a unique member of the illustration community in the UK and continues to develop, expand and innovate with his practise daily. John will always create art to be enjoyed by all.
